GALA DINNER 2023

One of the highlights of the evening was welcoming Rachel from our women's centre who gave her testimony of recovery. The 2023 Gala Dinner was historic not just for its location, but for her story of a Rescued Life, Restored Hope and a family Rebuilt. We also celebrated some of our Alumni who continue to walk out their Journey of Hope, those currently in the ONE80TC program and those still to come.

The move to the Art Gallery of NSW for our 2022 Event and subsequently our move to their Meer's Hall last year (2023), was a fantastic opportunity to experience both the old and the new. With over 165 attending, the 2023 Gala Dinner proved a great night for all our guests.

Right from the start of the night, with the Hon Dominic Perrottet (MP) former Premier of NSW giving a warm address as our keynote speaker, providing inspiration and encouragement. Through to the challenging testimony from Rachel demonstrating how she has overcome her addictions and is living a full life free from alcohol and drugs. Last year's Gala Dinner proved to be a 'victory' in more ways than one!

GALA DINNER 2024

Looking forward to this year, our 2024 Gala Dinner will again be held in the spectacular Meer's Hall at the Art Gallery of NSW, where we will guarantee that it will be a night of celebration in more ways than one.

Our keynote speaker for 2024 will be Patrick Noone (former CEO - Costco Wholesale, Australia).

Patrick started his retail career with Woolworths Supermarkets in 1978 in Melbourne as a Trainee Manager, progressing through several stores and management positions, including Store Manager of Niddrie and Shepperton Supermarkets in Victoria.
In 1985, Patrick moved to Canada with his Canadian wife, and commenced working with Loblaw’s in Winnipeg, Edmonton and Vancouver.  Patrick helped start and operate the Loblaw’s superstore concept, ‘The Real Canadian Superstore, managing buildings in Edmonton, Canada and several new openings in Vancouver.
Patrick helped launch the Membership Warehouse concept in Canada in 1991, working with the Price Club group in Vancouver.  After the merger with Costco in 1993, Patrick went on to manage several Costco Warehouses in the Vancouver market, eventually being promoted to Regional Operations Manager in 2003, and Vice President in Western Canada in 2005.
In 2006, Patrick was relocated to Australia as Country Manager for Costco Australia. In 2009 Costco opened its first Warehouse in Melbourne’s Docklands.  Sydney and Canberra locations followed in 2011.  In November 2013 Costco opened another 2 warehouses in Crossroads, Liverpool NSW and Ringwood, Victoria.  These were followed by the warehouse in North Lakes, Queensland.
Costco now has a total of 16 warehouses in Australia and New Zealand.

ONE80TC wish to thank all our sponsors, supporters, guests, students, alumni and staff that are a part of this night many of whom continued to support ONE80TC through what has been a challenging number of years for us all. Thank you so much. We are looking forward to celebrating again this year - "See you there!"
